Terms of Service

Version 1.0 — Effective May 2, 2026

By submitting a commission request through this website, you ("the Client") agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before placing your order.

1. General

I ("the Artist") reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason and without obligation to disclose that reason. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance.

All commissions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability depends on open slots, which are displayed on the website.

2. Commission Process

The workflow for every commission follows these stages:

Queued → Sketch → Lineart → Coloring → Done → Delivered

  • Estimated turnaround time is 2–4 weeks from payment confirmation, depending on queue position and complexity.
  • This is an estimate, not a guarantee. I will communicate delays proactively.
  • Rush orders are not available.

3. Revisions

  • Revisions are available at the Sketch stage only, free of charge.
  • Minor adjustments (pose tweaks, expression changes, small detail corrections) are included.
  • Major changes (entirely new pose, different character, concept overhaul) may be treated as a new commission.
  • No revisions are offered after the Sketch stage has been approved. Once I proceed to Lineart, the composition is considered final.
  • Approving the Sketch (or not responding within 7 days of delivery) constitutes acceptance of the composition.

4. Payment

  • All prices are listed in EUR (€). PayPal handles currency conversion for international payments.
  • Payment is processed via PayPal and is due before work begins.
  • Upon acceptance of your request, you will receive a PayPal payment link via email.
  • The payment reference will be Yocto-{ID} — assigned automatically. Do not alter it.
  • Your shipping/billing address is required during PayPal checkout. This is mandatory for invoicing purposes under German tax law (see Section 10). Payments without a valid address may be delayed.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the current stage of the commission:

Coloring or later No refund
  • Refunds are issued to the original PayPal payment method.
  • If I cancel a commission for any reason, a full refund is issued regardless of stage.
  • Chargebacks or PayPal disputes filed without prior communication will result in the Client being blacklisted from future commissions.

6. Usage Rights

What the Client receives:

  • Personal, non-commercial usage rights to the finished artwork.
  • This includes: posting on social media, using as a profile picture/avatar, printing for personal use.

What the Client does NOT receive:

  • Commercial usage rights (merchandise, prints for sale, branding, advertising).
  • Commercial licensing is available and can be negotiated separately — contact me for pricing.
  • The source/working files (PSD, CLIP, etc.). These remain with the Artist.
  • Copyright or ownership of the artwork. All rights not explicitly granted remain with the Artist.

Credit:

  • Crediting the Artist when posting the artwork publicly is appreciated but not mandatory.
  • The Client must not claim the artwork as their own creation, remove watermarks, or alter signatures.

7. Artist's Rights

I retain full rights to all artwork created, including the right to:

  • Post finished commissions on my portfolio, social media, and any other platform (including NSFW-specific platforms).
  • Use the artwork for self-promotion, print-on-demand samples, or convention displays.
  • Include the artwork in compilations, artbooks, or similar collections.

If you require your commission to remain private/anonymous, this must be communicated before payment. I will honor such requests, but they must be explicit.

8. Content Policy

I will draw:

  • Original characters (furry, anthro, feral, human, fantasy, etc.)
  • Fan art of fictional characters
  • SFW and NSFW/Mature content (NSFW on request — please indicate in your commission description)

I will NOT draw:

  • Real people or likenesses of real individuals
  • Hateful, discriminatory, or politically extremist content
  • Minors in sexual, suggestive, or otherwise inappropriate contexts
  • Content depicting or promoting the sexualization of minors in any form, including "aged-up" depictions of canonically minor characters

I reserve the right to decline any subject matter I find personally objectionable, even if not listed above.

9. Communication & Ghosting

  • I aim to respond to all messages within 72 hours. If you haven't heard from me, a polite follow-up is welcome.
  • Client ghosting policy: If I require input from you (e.g., Sketch approval, clarification) and receive no response for 14 days, I will send a final reminder. If there is still no response after an additional 7 days (21 days total), the commission will be removed from the queue. Refund eligibility at that point follows the standard refund table (Section 5).
  • Preferred communication channels: as indicated in your commission request form.

10. Data Collection & Tax Compliance

As a sole proprietor registered in Germany, I am required to collect and retain certain data for tax purposes under applicable EU and German law (including EU Regulation 282/2011, Art. 24b and §147 AO).

Data collected:

  • Your email address, display name, country, and contact handle (provided by you in the commission form).
  • Your approximate geographic location via GeoIP lookup at the time of form submission.
  • Your shipping/billing address and payer country as provided through PayPal during payment.

Purpose:

  • These three data points (self-reported country, GeoIP location, PayPal shipping address) serve as non-contradictory evidence of the Client's country of residence for tax classification of cross-border services.
  • If two or more of these data points conflict, I may contact you for clarification.

Retention:

  • Commission-related data (including payment and address information) is retained for 10 years after the calendar year in which the commission was completed, as required by German tax retention law (§147 AO).
  • After the retention period, data will be deleted upon request.

Your rights:

  • You may request access to your stored data at any time.
  • Deletion of data is possible after the legal retention period has expired.

11. Liability

  • Artwork is provided digitally "as is" after final delivery.
  • I am not responsible for color variations when the Client prints the artwork, as this depends on the Client's printer, paper, and color profile.
  • I am not liable for unauthorized use, redistribution, or modification of the artwork by third parties.

12. Changes to These Terms

  • I may update these Terms of Service at any time. New versions will be posted on this website.
  • The version in effect at the time of your commission request applies to your order.
  • Existing commissions are not retroactively affected by ToS changes.
